PURE JOY!
The only way that I can describe K + G’s day at Cottiers. Katrina made the decision to have her bridal prep at One Devonshire Gardens, another of my favourite venues and it was just perfect for those little detail shots - I will never tire of the stain glass windows here! Tne it was onto Cottiers for the most beautiful ceremony. Make Believe Events were brought in to style the space and what a job they did, absolutely stunning. Of course it won’t be a west end wedding without visiting the botanic gardens for photos and a wonder back through the lanes and Byres road for a few more photo opportunities.

GLASGOW WEST END, SCOTLAND
Thinking of Glasgow’s West End to marry your best friend?
Then, I highly recommend a day like Claire and Darren’s. They celebrated with their nearest and dearest - it was fun, relaxed and filled with so much love!
They said their I Do’s with a beautiful humanist ceremony in the magnificent Memorial Chapel at Glasgow Uni, then along with all of their guests had a short stroll over to their reception at Ubiquitous Chip on Ashton Lane.
Not only were they greeted with a huge Ashton Lane Street Party with the whole crowd clapping and celebrating with them, they had one of thee best ideas I have ever seen - Wedding Nannies! Yes, it really is a thing. With their friends all having little ones running around, they set up a creche at their reception. The nannies looked after and entertained all the kids throughout the reception, allowing parents to enjoy the evening which in my opinion was absolute genius!

Diane and Lauren contacted me three days. THREE DAYS. before their wedding. The worst had happened and their photographers had to cancel last minute.
With two weddings either side of theirs, it was a struggle but I wasn’t going to let them down and I’m so so happy that I ended up being their photographer - their wedding was magical from start to finish and one of my many highlights of 2022.
Lauren, to this day was thee most organised bride I have ever met. From all tags being cut from dresses to her box of details sat out and ready for me to photograph, she was amazing!
The confetti shot was by far the greatest confetti exit I have photographed and up there with one of my favourite photos of 2022. If you’re going to do confetti, please do it right. Buy from a confetti supplier who supply large disks and by the bag load - with confetti more is always best! Lots of couples who I’ve worked with since reference Diane + Laurens’ confetti shots but never invest in the key part of achieving such a great moment - THE CONFETTI!!
Diane, quite possibly the best hype / dancer / party go-er I've met. From Britney to Shania, your best believe Diane was up there tearing up the dance floor with many guests in tow.
